Simmons looking forward to big year
Ireland coach Phil Simmons admits there are still a few places up for grabs in his squad for next year’s World Cup.
Simmons, who watched a number of his Ireland players compete against each other as the Leinster Lightning defeated North West Warriors by four wickets in their three day Newstalk Inter-Provincial Championship game at Bready, belives that the future is bright for cricket in the area.
