Dromore only manage a point

Dromore only managed a point away to Whitehead B in NIBA Division 2, but they were already champions.

Dromore were missing three regulars, but they really should have done better.

Lagan Valley scored a rare away win by 22 shots and took five points against a Dromore B team with a poor home record in NIBA Division 5.

The points made absolutely sure Valley avoid relegation and Dromore were already among the top few teams.

Down 7-11 at the tenth and 12-13 at 15 ends to Jeff Fawcus, Sammy Malcolmson came back strongly to win by seven shots.

At the tenth Jim Kinkead was 14-4 ahead and Tom Sudlow could only pull back to 9-16 at 15 ends. Valley went on to win by 11 shots.

At the tenth Kenny Aiken was 14-4 ahead and 16-9 at 15 ends before Jim Parkinson finished strongly but despite lifting four, two still lost by a shot.

Alan Sudlow was 4-17 down at the tenth and 7-24 at 15 ends and Jim Spence finished well for a 19 shots victory.
