Dunloy Cycling Club perform some excellent racing once again
First to stake his claim was Neil Higgins who rode to victory in the Bann Valley road race on Tuesday night.
Neil has been improving every week and it was a perfect reward for all his hard efforts to take first place in this busy field. Well done Neil, hopefully this is the start of your winning streak.

Hide AdNext stop was the clubs own classic race on Thursday night. Quite a large field turned out for this on a wet miserable and sometimes dangerous night.
Jonathan Dooey charged to victory getting first place here followed closely by youth rider Braendan Flanagan from Ballymoney CC, an excellent result from a junior. 3rd place went to Vincent Mort from Ballycastle CC to finish the line up. Congratulations boys, a hard night for racing
Saturday saw Vincent Drain and Finbarr Dooey travel to Donegal to take part in the JG memorial races
The masters and the A4,s started together and this race proved age is no factor with Vincent charging to win first place and Finbarr finishing the podium snatching third.

Hide AdExcellent racing boys, showing the young guns you are both a force to reckon with.
Finally two of the club along with guest spires rider Mark Glendinning took part in the Newry three event.
Unfortunately Philip McGuigan was tortured with mechanical issues meaning his withdrawal from the event, hard luck Philip. Chris mcKeown managed to finish the full event in 29th place and Mark in 26th place
Excellent racing lads on a very tough event where climbing was to the fore, great to finish so far up the field.
