CYFC 11s 5 Loughgall 7

THE first game for the new CYFC U11s started brightly and adapted well to the eleven-a-side format.

Zach Ferson grabbed his first hat-trick for the club and Peter Bell also scored a cracking 30 yard goal. Peter dominated the midfield and was awarded the man of the match award after his contribution in the centre of the park.

Overall a great performance by all the lads in there first competitive game against a Loughgall team who play in the George Best League

A big thank you to Andy Warwick for his help on the day from the coaching team of Scott and O’Rourke.

New Manager Jonny Scott and his assistant Barry O’Rourke were more than impressed with their teams performance and with a bit more practice and game time this team should settle in nicely into the Mid Ulster Youth League when the new season starts in September.

Everyone at CYFC wish Jonny and Barry and their young squad all the very best for the year ahead .
