Richhill produced a superb second-half response to turn the tables on a 2-1 deficit and claim the derby spoils.
The 3-2 triumph arrived despite Oxford Sunnyside entering the interval on top.
The afternoon’s opening goal was scored by Richhill when, on three minutes, Andrew Allen steered home a measured lob from a tight angle.
Neil Rowntree’s men failed to push on from the early advantage and suffered when Oxford found the net on two occasions before half-time.
The second half sparked into life as David Ross drilled home a low shot to cap a clever corner-kick routine by Richard Morrison.
Ally Dodds was on hand with the final goal at the end of patient approach play by Richhill.
Morrison and Dodds proved the key players for Richhill.
