FOOTBALL: Ashcroft scores late winner for Carnmoney
The boys from Newtownabbey dominated the first half, and opened the scoring through Scott Wilson who has been in fine scoring form this season.
Despite the good display, a mix-up in the Carnmoney midfield led to a Ballymena equaliser just before the break.

With the final whistle approaching, and the game looking like it was going to end in a draw, Donal Cullen made one last burst down the left.
He delivered a pin-point cross for defender Euan Ashcroft, who chested the ball home at the far post to win the hard-fought tie.
The boys from CFDC have made a strong start to their first season in the National League Under 14 A division. They currently sit in fifth position, with games in hand over the top four sides.
Next up for Carnmoney is a home game against Cliftonville on Saturday, October 17.
