Free-scoring Bourneview Mill enjoyed a five-star performance to overcome Oxford Sunnyside on Saturday.
Gary Hill set the scoring standard with a goal double as the Mill men kicked off Mid-Ulster Intermediate League Section B with home success at Pepperton Park.
Kyle Abraham broke the deadlock before Hill opened his account for the afternoon.
Ciaran Dickson and Mark Boyce were also on target, with Hill’s long-range strike one of the home highlights in the 5-2 triumph.
“We played really well overall,” said Mark Jackson, the Bourneview Mill manager. “It was nice to start the season with a few goals but, more importantly, some solid performances across the pitch.
“The only downside was conceding two goals but, overall, we managed to do everything right as a team.”
