Loughgall Youth players took to the field last weekend for football fixtures across a range of age groups.

The NIBFA Cup clash between Loughgall Youth under 17s and Dungannon Swifts was settled in the favour of the latter side across extra-time.

Jamie McAtamney enjoyed an early sight of goal but Ryan Leeman, a recent arrival at the club, kicked off the scoring with a measured lob off Stevie Monaghan’s pass.

Loughgall Youth pushed hard but conceded an equaliser then suffered a second goal in extra-time.

Loughgall Youth under 13s eased past Glenavy for Lisburn League success on a 17-0 scoreline.

It marked a third consecutive win by the young Villagers following a superb team display.

Sam Kerr scored seven goals - with Chris Lindsay finding the net on four occasions. Adam Neill and Peter Spence picked up two apiece alongside goals by Ben Gibbons and Stuart Emerson.
