Hanover strong in second half to come out on top over Laurelvale

Hanover hit home three second-half goals to lift the derby spoils at the expense of 10-man Laurelvale.

Laurelvale produced a bright start at Brownstown Park, with chances for David Sinton and Mark Dane before the latter converted Jack McClelland’s delivery.

A composed sidefoot strike by Dean Bunting in the second half put Hanover back on level terms.

Laurelvale suffered a double setback - with a close-range miss and red card handing Hanover the momentum.

James Sergeant celebrated his introduction by converting Scott McCullough’s pass.

Justin Bradley added a decisive third as Hanover worked space behind the visitors’ defence.
