Portadown Integrated Ladies’ Aine Hoye and Lana Black have been selected to travel as part of Northern Ireland’s senior squad to Croatia.
The players will take part across the Istria Cup.
“Both girls have been involved with the NI set-up since last year,” said a club spokesperson. “With Lana involved recently in a training camp followed by a friendly against the Republic of Ireland.
“It is a great opportunity and will provide excellent experience to both players.
“Everyone at the club is delighted with the news and to see them involved in the senior squad.”
Lauren Currie and Niamh Ruddy of Portadown Integrated Ladies recently returned from a five-day visit to Hungary as part of Northern Ireland under 17s.
Impressive progress at youth level included the club’s under 17s taking part in a development mini-tournament.
Training sessions for the under 11s and under 13s will continue in St Mary’s Youth Hall from 6-7 o’clock, with players of all ability levels welcome to attend.
Senior training dates have been confirmed for the People’s Park from 7-8 o’clock with, again, everyone welcome.
