Pat McGibbon can enter the crucial run of two league games in four days with the luxury of a full-strength panel for the first time in his period as Ports caretaker manager.
Philip Lowry remains the only player ruled out - as a result of work commitments - but McGibbon can select squads for games with Dungannon Swifts and Carrick Rangers clear of injury issues or suspensions.
The Ports picked up a first point under McGibbon in last weekend’s scoreless draw at home to Ballinamallard United. Now, having put a stop to the rot of four consecutive league defeats, McGibbon is keep to push on entering the season’s closing stages.
“It was a real boost looking around on Saturday and having greater options,” said McGibbon. “We can face Dungannon and Carrick now with everyone available bar Philip.”
Kick-off tomorrow (Saturday) will be 3 o’clock at Shamrock Park against Dungannon Swifts, with Tuesday’s trip to take on Carrick Rangers starting at 7.45.
