Portadown’s Board of Directors tonight (Monday) confirmed a March 27 deadline for the process of replacing Ronnie McFall.
McFall stepped down as Ports boss on Saturday after more than 29 years in the Shamrock Park hot-seat.
Club officials have discussed the next step and opened up the application process to all candidates ahead of a March 27 deadline.
A review of applicants will then take place.
Talks will continue this week to fill the vacancy for Saturday’s Danske Bank Premiership game at home to Coleraine.
However, the responsibility for training sessions this week will go to first-team coach Trevor Williamson, club captain Keith O’Hara and senior player David Miskelly.
