Portadown battled back from a 2-0 deficit to rescue a point from Tuesday’s visit to Glentoran in the NIFL Reserve League.

It was scoreless entering half-time at The Oval but a close-range effort and penalty kick put the Glens clear by 2-0.

Marcio Soares converted a Chris Ramsey cross before Paul McElroy’s finish secured a point.

“Credit to the players for getting back into the game,” said Gary McCullough, manager of the reserves. “We created good chances.”
