Ulster’s elite seniors and juniors entertained the public with a weekend exhibition at Rushmere Shopping Centre.
The showcase was organised in celebration of World Table Tennis Week and to promote the recently-formed club based out of the borough’s St Anthony’s Primary School.
Harry McGoldrick, a Junior Inter-Provincial representative from Craigavon, took to the table alongside multiple national champion Paul McCreery and under 21s’ title-holder Ashley Robinson, plus two number-one ranked teenagers - Zak Wilson and Owen Cathcart.
The fun day was also designed to raise awareness of a sport which can boast borough connections to the Commonwealth Games and Ireland recognition thanks to past players such as Jimmy Hamill and Mary Toland.
Thanks to go Rushmere Shopping Centre, Table Tennis Ulster, Neil Irwin, Nick Rusk, Gervis Knox and Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
Coaching evenings in St Anthony’s by Craigavon Table Tennis Club will run each Tuesday from April 21 for children (6.30-7.30, £2) and adults (7.30-9 o’clock, £3).
