Portadown Youth had three players involved in the Irish Football Association-affiliated Club NI trip to England.
The touring party included Alberto Balde, Callum Ferris and Barney McKeown from the town club - with David Walsh, Harry Evans and Jack Conlon named on the representative squad’s standby list.
The trip featured games last Thursday and Friday, with Balde grabbing two goals against Everton under 13s.
“It was a great reward for the players’ hard work,” said Portadown Youth chairman Jeff Kerr. “Credit to the boys and coaching staff.
“This recognition will help raise the club’s profile and also act as an incentive for the other players.
“The experience can only aid the boys’ development.”
Craigavon Senior High School’s Pablo De Andrade was also selected and scored two against Manchester City under 15s.
