Sergeant finds the net in Hanover success

Hanover finished with the derby spoils at the expense of Lurgan BBOB in Saturday’s Mid-Ulster Reserve League Division One clash.

James Sergeant, Stephen Woods and Jay Green grabbed goals in the 3-1 victory by Hanover.

Tandragee Rovers’ rise up the standings continued with a convincing 4-1 defeat on the road at Glenavy.

Dean Singleton’s brace - alongside efforts by Dean McCammon and Andrew Simmons - wrapped up the points.

Peter Duke walked off the pitch with a weekend hat-trick for Bourneview Mill but on the losing side against The Ambassadors.

The Mid-Ulster Reserve League Division Two date finished in a 7-4 defeat for a Mill side unable to field a recognised goalkeeper. Chris Woods was the other Mill scorer.

Philip McComb and Scott Cully helped Markethill Swifts leave Lurgan Town with full points and a 2-0 win.

The derby between Rectory Rangers and Seagoe produced nine goals and three points for the hosts.

Rectory finished on top by 5-4 in Mid-Ulster Reserve League Division Three - with Stevie Wright’s treble featuring alongside a finish by Ally Reaney and own goal.

Seagoe also had a hat-trick on the scoresheet as Ashley Pepper found the net three times, with Aaron Martin the other scorer.
