Loughgall secured a first spot in the Irish Cup quarter-finals for over a decade as Warner Mullen’s double proved decisive against PSNI.
Mullen was named January’s Championship Player of the Month by the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association and managed to maintain his scoring form in the first fixture of February.
Mullen slotted home the opening goal after strong work by Steven Ferguson and the striker’s second of the afternoon arrived on the hour mark thanks to a penalty kick.
Gareth Buchanan produced some key stops, with Daniel Ryan close to increasing the Loughgall lead before the final whistle.
