Mixed foursomes continue tonight
THE City of Derry mixed foursomes matchplay Championship, sponsored by Todds/Kia of Campsie continues tonight (Wednesday).
The quarter-finals will be held this evening with the semi-finals to be played on Friday and the final and Plate Competition on Sunday.
The second round results were as follows: C McGeady & A Hamilton won by 4/3 over J McGrotty & F McGrotty; Geo Jackson & Kathy Jackson won by 3/1 over C Moran & A Hume; C McKeone & V Burke won on the 19th over J Harding & M McLaren; C McWilliams & A McLaughlin won by 3/2 over S McKane & A Chambers; M McCullough & N Quigg won by 3/2 over K Dunn & M McCarron; J Chambers & C Chambers won by 3/2 over Gary Jackson & Karen Jackson; G Leckey & D Doherty won by 3/1 over J McFarland & M Clifford; E Heywood & V Houston overcame Keelan Quigg & M McReynolds.
