O’Brien and Curry win final competition of the season

Saturday saw the end of the season at Faughan Valley, with the two man scramble partnership of William O’Brien and Graham Curry taking first spot from David Forbes and Kevin Hunter by one shot returning a score of 59 nett.

Immediately after the two man scramble Faughan Valley held its annual general meeting.

The meeting was opened by our immediate past president Don O’Doherty, who handed the floor over to our outgoing club captain Robert Curry, who in turn called upon Frank McClintock as the incoming captain for 2015 to take his seat at the table.

The hugely popular John Huw Cleghorn was voted in as the club president, always reliable Trevor Lewers is serving his second year as hon secretary, William O’Brien was re-elected as Treasurer and Steven Nicholl was elected as competition secretary.
