Ryan wins top prize at President’s Day while Jim claims the Senior’s Prize
Ryan Simpson (7) won top prize with a fantastic 45 points. He started with a double bogey 6 and finished with a gross 69. An eagle at the 13th was the highlight of his round.
Gary Waterworth (25), a relative newcomer to the game, was runner-up with 44 points. He had a wonderful chance to win but dropped 9 shots over the last 5 holes. He was nevertheless delighted.
Roland Harwood (11) was third with 43 points.

Hide AdConnor Doran (+1) won the best gross with a 3 under par 66. He had 6 birdies in the first 11 holes.
Jim Minnis (14) won the senior’s prize with 41 points. James Duffy won the visitor’s prize.
Earlier in the week, Jane Doyle, Anne Maginnis, Sharon Allen and Mildred Hodgett won the ladies prizes.
Finally, Jack McKerr, Rory McNiff, Callum Barnes and Conor Weir won the juvenile prizes.
Last Saturday was a memorable day for Felix Duffy and his family. The golf entertainment were great and, to cap it all, a lot of money was raised for the Stroke Association.
