Just a step too far for Scott
Scott Jess discovered the Irish Under-25 Singles semi-final was a step too far when he lost 21-9 to A. O’Keefe, St James Gate at Coleraine on Friday.
The Lisnagarvey bowler had won the NIBA Under-25 Singles to qualify for a shot at the Irish title, but it was not to be.
O’Keefe dominated proceedings to gain an easy win, but Jess can, on reflection, take hope from his achievements this season and plan to do better in the future.
