Mini Hockey sessions return

The new season is now under way and Larne Ladies’ popular Mini Hockey sessions are set to resume on Saturday, September 19 in Larne Town Park (10–11am).

The sessions are aimed at girls from Primary 1 through to Primary 6 and new members are welcome in all age groups. Equipment is provided.

The junior training for girls in Primary 7 through to Year 11 commences on Wednesday, September 16 6:30–7:30pm at Larne High School.

Larne 1st XI, who lost 3-0 away to Banbridge in the Senior Cup at the weekend, play at Senior 1 and the team’s success is due to the time and commitment the members put in to developing and fostering our links with local schools to promote the game to girls from a young age.

This Saturday (September 19) Larne 1st XI are away to Victorians in their first league fixture, while the 2nd XI are home to Victorians Friday (September 18, 8pm) at Larne High School. The 3rd XI face a trip to away to Castlederg on Saturday.
