Mike Boyd proved the pick of the Galtee Cup entry list thanks to 65 nett off his 17 handicap around Tandragee.
Aaron Hall also posted 65 nett but finished second across the countback, with 34 over the second leg compared to Boyd’s 30.
The countback also came into play to settle the next four positions, with John Quinn the head of the pack over Paul McCullough, John McIlwrath and Colin McMullen.
Jamie Stothers walked away as gross winner on a three-under-par round of 68. He wrapped up the front nine on one-under-par, with two-under-par over the return home.
In the seniors, Rodney Black put up 68 nett.
Friday’s Open Stroke placed Graham Harvey first on 68 nett, with Gary Mallon second thanks to 71 nett. The countback system left Joe Berry and Paul Topley next home on 71 nett apiece.
The Sunday Stableford had Terry Goward as the winner on 40 points, followed home by Jonathon Craig’s 38. Ivan Megaw and Ashley McConville came in behind Craig on the six-hole countback.
Paul Davidson was top of a Bank Holiday Open Stableford thanks to 43 points off his recently-adjusted 19 handicap.
The President’s Day winner finished in front of William Small’s 41 points, the latter off a two handicap. Paul Swaffield was third.
The ladies’ club prize went to Lavern Saunders on 39 points over Suzy Walsh and Lorraine Grimley.
Grimley posted 37 points to edge out Barbara Richardson and Vivienne Loney over the countback.
