Paddy Conran collected the closing 18-hole Stableford qualifying competition honour on Saturday at Carrickblacker.
He posted 40 points off his 11 handicap following a front-nine tally of 19 and two-over-par back leg.
Conran’s handicap has now been reduced to 10.
Andrew Poole’s tally of 39 points left him as overall runner-up, with Brian Turkington and Victor Kelly missing out on the countback system.
Roderick Joyce was next in line on 38, followed home by Billy Gillis over countback.
Keith Walker picked up top spot in the gross running order. Walker’s weekend was also offered a significant boost with hole-in-one success at the par three sixth.
In the 14-hole Thursday Sweep, Dougie Smith came home first on 34 points.
Derek McCoy was second with 33 points but Mark Taylor finished third.
In the Monday Seniors, Bertie Speers proved the pick of the 14-hole Stableford field on 32 points.
Pete Savage won the low section on 31 and Eddie Bell was first across the high section with 30.
Sammy Forbes finished as the leading veteran.
The Richardson’s Meats-sponsored Winter League started this week but the deadline has been extended for late entries.
The ladies’ Winter League opened with Claire Patton the pick of the players.
She posted 21 to edge out Valerie Stewart across the countback system.
Anne Brisbane finished third in the individual standings.
