Birches-based Adam Hylands proved in commanding form around Tullyroan Oval by clocking up a clean sweep across the National Hot Rods World Championship qualifier.
Hylands, the current European champion, picked up a double within the heats before maintaining his winning form in the final.
It marked the 14th and final round of the PC Paints and Components-sponsored World Series NI - with Hylands home at the head of a 16-strong entry list.
He defeated Crumlin’s Adam Maxwell and Derek Martin from Dungannon across the opening heat. Hylands then held off a persistent Martin in heat two, with Maxwell third.
Difficult weather conditions led to a depleted field for the final but Hylands and Martin proved the pick of the pack before the former finished first.
Teenage driver Jaimie McCurdy wrapped up the final qualifying position for the World Championships at Ipswich.
Another ace from the area set to visit England is Glenn Bell, the Portadown-born National and British champion who came out top in the points tally to settle the Northern Ireland leaderboard.
Stewart Doak, also from Portadown, will join Bell across the water this month - with Hylands now set for the last-chance qualifier in Ipswich having joined the championship at the midway point.
Portadown’s Jamie Stephens followed his heat runner-up placing with a final victory across the Lightning Rods.
Stefan McClelland, also from Portadown, was runner-up in the ProStocks class, with Raymond Gurney first in the final.
Other winners on the night were: Gareth Halliday (Junior Productions) and John Stewart (Reliant Robins).
Racing on Sunday will feature the National Bangers Irish Open Championship as the main event from 2 o’clock.
Portadown’s Noel Robinson clocked up second at Kirkistown last weekend during the BOSS Ireland class.
Robinson steered his Tatuus Renault to fifth place in race one after 12 laps. His highlight arrived in race two with runner-up by 2.94 seconds.
The packed programme also featured Ford Fiesta, Roadsports, Crossle Handicap, Formula Ford 1600 and Historic F3 sections.
