Killicomaine Junior High School pupils lined out against a touring party from England during the recent rugby showcase.
The visit by Danes Hill Public and Preparatory School was played out in front of over 100 parents and guests for the three-match schedule.
The school - which includes the children of England international sportsmen John Terry and Andrew Flintoff as past pupils - finished with two wins.
A late conversion and try, with Toby Gribben on the scoresheet, left Killicomaine with a victory on the scoreboard.
Danes Hill deputy headmaster Rob Andrew offered his appreciation for the hospitality, declaring Killicomaine the best of all schools visited across the Republic of Ireland and England.
Killicomaine principal Hugh McCarthy offered his thanks and best wishes for future success.
Additional support came from the Killicomaine girls’ hockey team.
