Laurelvale now sit in pole position for a Section Two title push entering the closing weeks of the campaign.
The Villagers wrapped up the weekend programme having recorded defeats over Holywood and Dundrum by, respectively, 16 runs and four wickets.
Thanks to that form of nine wins from 11 appearances - plus the end of Cliftonville’s unbeaten run - Laurelvale now hold top spot.
“The weekend was excellent for us and it is obviously great to be top of the table at present,” said Laurelvale captain David Sinton. “There is still a lot of work to do but we can all take confidence.
“On Saturday against Holywood we had excellent performances with the bat as Daryl Henry put up 65 plus formed key partnerships with Mark Thornbury and Craig Irwin.
“Our bowling run was one of the best this season as we displayed real control and confidence.
“Muhammad Ajmal, Daryl and Michael Burns had great figures over the weekend but it was also nice to see John Haddock pick up a few and teenager Jack Burns claim his first at senior level.
“Stuart McClelland’s innings of 44 helped us home against Dundrum.
“Now we want to cement out position over the final few fixtures, starting with a tough test on Sunday against Templepatrick.”
