Matthew Leckey’s ‘Left To Righters’ remain out in front entering the closing fortnight of Tandragee’s Winter League.

The Hotstoves NI-sponsored competition puts Leckey’s group on top by 11 points - with Ivan Megaw the pick of the weekend pack with 28.

Geoff Gray’s ‘Up And Downers’ hold second on 1,706 overall, with Alan Black the latest leading name. Rodney Black and Jordan McKenzie each posted 27 for third-placed ‘The Captain’s Lot’.

The remaining positions are Jason And The Argonauts, Harbo’s Hounds, Air Force One, Dog Squad, Jimmy’s Jokers, Ping Zings, Rough Ballers, Bandit Awareness, The Haminators, George’s Veterans and Par Rangers.

The weekly winners were Tony Graham (0-7 handicap, 30 points), Brian Agnew (8-10, 32), Roy Tilson (11-13, 30) and William Gillespie (14-plus, 27).

The turkey results were: 0-7 section - 1, Garfield Sherman 30 points and 2, William Small 28; 8-11 - 1, Brian Agnew 32 and 2, Mark Upton 29; 12-plus - 1, Nigel Duffy 29 and 2, George Quinn 29.

In the ladies’ Mayfair Business Centre-sponsored Winter League Frances Clydesdale’s ‘Mince Pies’ continue to hold the upper hand on 762 points, with Barbara Richardson the leading individual.

Dolores Hamill’s ‘Apple Tarts’ sit second on 755 - with Hilary Hamill, Vera Brady and Mary Lappin on 17 apiece. Margaret Hendron’s ‘The Cup Cakes’ posted 711 points, led by Liz Fyfe’s 16, for third followed by Helen Fleming’s ‘Fairy Cakes’,
