Portadown’s Marshall Neill had a podium double in sight last weekend but left the Brands Hatch Indy circuit having missed out on a points boost.
The British Supersport Evo Championship second-round meeting left Neill with fourth as the highlight despite some promising moments.
A miscalculation in race one left him off the pace having been relegated to fourth on the last lap but unaware of the time deadline.
His second appearance ended in disappointment when Neill slipped off from a position of second in the closing laps.
“It was a tough weekend as I know I was riding well enough to finish on the podium but I just wasn’t finishing the job to get the results,” said Neill. “Big thanks to Adrian, Ruairi and the team for their hard work this weekend, also thanks to all the sponsors and it was nice to meet Dan from Bmor and his family and always great to see Mark and Keith from Rapid International.”
