Marshall Neill clocked up a podium double at Silverstone - thanks to a generous helping hand from his mechanical team.
The Portadown rider finished third in British Supersport Evo Championship qualifying but suffered damage to his bike.
The IN-Competition Racing team worked hard across Saturday to prepare the machine for that evening’s sprint event, with the dedication rewarded by second for Neill. He managed a repeat result in Sunday’s feature race to secure second in the overall Evo Championship standings.
“I am really pleased with how this weekend finished up,” said Neill. “I’m sorry I gave Adrian and Ruairi a lot of extra work to do but, thankfully, finished both races in second.
“I can’t tell you how delighted I am to have clinched second in the championship,
“I’m so thankful to Edward and Gail for giving me this opportunity and so pleased I can repay all the team.”
Thanks go to the team supporters, plus Neill’s personal sponsors: Rapid International, Ryan McGill Joinery, A.McKeown Fruit and Veg, RTS Tiles.
