Tandragee 100 officials can welcome fresh sponsorship support leading up to May’s high-profile road race.

Robert Eakins of Mahon Garden Centre has confirmed his backing to the motorcycling showpiece organised by North Armagh Motorcycle and Car Club Ltd.

Practice has been confirmed as Friday, May 1 - the night before the full event, with main sponsorship from Around-A-Pound.

The strong tradition of the Tandragee 100 results in support from top-class domestic riders, visitors and newcomers.

“Mahon Garden Centre now offers a ‘click-and-collect’ service to customers via the website,” said a North Armagh spokesperson. “Entries are coming in fast and furious.

“Mahon Garden Centre was established in 1988 by the Eakins family and Robert is no stranger to the world of motorcycling thanks to his role as a long-time sponsor to familiar names such as Marshall Neill, Woolsey Coulter and Mark Murphy.”

The entry list stands at over 200 riders, with more than 30 newcomers on board.

The deadline is Friday, April 3 and anyone interested can visit www.tandragee100.co.uk or the Facebook page.

Sponsorship opportunities start at £20, with the deadline Friday, March 27. Contact Anne Forsythe on 07977425355 or email anne.forsythe@orange.net.
