Jim Thomson put up 44 impressive points to capture the Tandragee Pro Shop-sponsored stableford on Saturday.
He scored 23 points along the front nine and 21 during the return leg off his 20 handicap to finish in front of John Haffey’s 42.
The countback system settled the next five positions as Benjamin McIlwrath scored 22 points over the back nine to edge out a string of players. Neill Cooke was next in line over Derek Geddis, Jamie Stothers and Brian Agnew.
Ross Dutton picked up the gross prize on 67, having wrapped up each nine on a two-under-par tally.
Raymond White won the seniors’ section on 39 points, with a six-hole countback sealing the win.
Sunday’s Club Stableford was won by Martin McCracken on 47 points off his 22 handicap.
A four-over-par front nine was followed by 22 points on the way home.
Jack McClean finished as runner-up on 42 points off his seven handicap.
Nigel McGuffin was third on 40 points and Ivan Megaw followed on with 39.
In the Open Mixed Greensomes, Robert Saunders and Lavern Saunders combined to pick up the Williams Estate Agents-sponsored prize thanks to 40 points.
Adrian Maney and Lynn Moorhead were next home on 39 points, followed by Vic Fleming and Helen Fleming with 36.
The Flemings had the countback to thank for success over both Geoff Moorhead and Kathryn Moorhead plus Colin McKillop and Ann Hall.
The Three-Ball Scramble was settled by Barbara Richardson on 40 points in the Newell Trophy.
Dolores Hamill, the lady captain, was next home on 38 points.
