MOTORBIKES: Reid wins Race of Year title

“I’m happy to get the award on the merit of how good the race at Oulton Park was,” said Reid. “I was up against so many road racers for the award it was amazing that my race came out on top.

“In a way it is a double as the same race was voted the best race on EuroSport in 2015.

“It is a true testament of the support that our BSB championship gets when this happens. I would have been pretty disappointed if I had left empty-handed on Friday. Now I cant wait for the season to start.”
