Newtowne claim Sentinel Cup

NORTH West kingpins Newtowne retained the Sentinel Cup following a deserved 3-1 win over BBOB, at the Riverside Stadium, on Wednesday night.

Goals from Andrew Ferris, Trevor McSparron and Blain Morrison gave the Roesiders a 3-0 lead, before BB's Gary King scored a wonder goal 20 minutes from time to so set up a grand stand finish, but the Roesiders, who had Ian Crockett sent-off, easily held on.
