School choir in fine voice at festival
With Carrickfergus Music Festival returning later this month, Times Past recalls the success of one group of young singers
The Carrickfergus Model Primary School senior choir won the Falkingham Cup at the local music festival in May 1985.
Carrickfergus Music Festival, which has been a starting point for many professionals including pianist Barry Douglas and singer Katie Melua, will run April 28 - May 10.
