Loughgall Football Club officials have been forced to postpone Gary Anderson’s appearance on Friday, May 22.

The PDC World champion was set for an exhibition at Lakeview Park but a clash of commitments means Anderson must now travel to Dubai.

However, Loughgall have an agreement that a fresh date will be arranged as soon as possible.

Entertainer Lee Matthews - who recently performed a sold-out show at Moy’s The Ryandale Hotel - will fill the slot on May 22.

The charity boxing planned for May 23 - in association with the Armagh Blues and Banbridge Rangers football clubs - will still run. The boxing will benefit Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.

“It is unavoidable but Gary has promised he will honour the appearance when possible,” said Loughgall’s Neil Anderson. “Any tickets sold to date will remain valid.

“Once a new date is confirmed, anyone with a ticket unable to attend can receive a full refund.”

Tickets for the music show and boxing cost £12.50 from Anderson via 07730595080.
