Laurelvale enjoyed weekend success on two fronts courtesy of cup progress past Millpark and a league victory against Dundrum.
The villagers’ innings ended on 280 - with Daryl Henry and Gary Murphy both moving beyond the half-century mark.
Henry and Ricky Wilson dominated with the ball as only one Millpark player reached double figures - the former on six wickets for six runs and the latter with three for 22.
Laurelvale can prepare for a semi-final derby date next month at Armagh.
Philip Weir’s 91 proved the highlight as Laurelvale defeated Dundrum on Sunday across Section Two.
The league victory arrived with Chris Webb on 69 and Craig Irwin with 61 not out towards the final tally of 315.
Burns, Lee Edgar and Jeff Haire proved strong to limit Dundrum to 104.
Laurelvale will be aiming to push on now with forthcoming dates against BISC tomorrow (Saturday) and Victoria (next week).
