Laurelvale’s derby date with Armagh ended in defeat at The Mall by 114 runs.

Ricky Wilson claimed a wicket - caught behind by Philip Weir - in his first over but a 50-run partnership handed Armagh control.

Lee Edgar registered two wickets thanks to LBW and Stuart McClelland’s safe hands.

Wilson added to his haul but Armagh’s free-scoring approach pushed the tally past 200, with Gary Murphy picking up a late wicket.

The reply featured Daryl Henry out for 33 as the Villagers struggled to chase down the significant target.

Michael Burns and Edgar put on around 35 runs before the close of the Laurelvale innings.

Slack Laurelvale bowling led to 35 extras, with errors in the field adding up to an afternoon to forget for the visitors in Section Two.
