World champion Gary Anderson is coming to Loughgall.

The Scotland-born thrower is booked in for an exhibition on Friday, May 22.

A peak Sky Sports television audience of 1.5 million watched Anderson secure his first PDC World crown earlier this month by beating Phil Taylor. Fans and throwers will now be hoping for similar thrills when Anderson arrives in person.

Neil Anderson, the Loughgall Football Club bar manager, admits demand to date has forced organisers to discuss moving the appearance outside the Lakeview Park clubrooms.

Tickets cost £12.50 and go on sale at the end of January.

“The interest has been unbelievable so we want to review our options,” said Anderson. “It is about opening up the exhibition to as many people as possible.

“Gary is renowned for putting on a great show and confirmed events include a VIP lunch and exhibition against 20 throwers.”
