Richhill’s renaissance continued on Saturday as the villagers recovered from a 3-1 deficit to rescue a point at home to Hanover.
Two of the leading sides in Mid-Ulster Intermediate League Section B served up six goals and plenty of drama as the teams found the net on five occasions within the opening 35 minutes.
Scott McCullough produced two assists and a goal - his first allowing Chris Kerr to convert a back-post header before turning from provider to scorer to drill in number two.
Richhill had previously levelled off a Paul Duffy header.
McCullough’s measured pass then split the backline for Justin Bradley to convert.
Richhill held the second-half upper hand and closed the gap off a David Ross finish before Matty Wright’s equaliser.
Tickets for Hanover’s 50th anniversary in The Seagoe Hotel on Saturday, May 30 are available from 07731826633 at £40 per person.
