Richhill suffered penalty pain in last weekend’s Bob Radcliffe Cup tie.

A 3-2 spot-kick setback arrived after four goals apiece across normal time against Moneyslane.

Neil Rowntree’s side kicked off the match with the opening goal as Richard Morrison’s free-kick delivery dropped into the net.

Moneyslane left it level before a David Ross attempt drifted past the post.

Ross’ strike partner, Ally Dodds, grabbed two goals in quick succession to push Richhill clear by 3-1.

The visitors cut the gap before the break and found the net with two goals in the second half.

Richhill forced extra-time thanks to Morrison’s angled finish.

Richhill have a quiz night planned for September 12 in Ye Olde House Bar from 8.30. Admission is £5, with supper included and all welcome.
