Rising Sun A secure early lead

LAST Thursday night's action in the Avis Rent A Car Eglinton & District Darts League saw the Rising Sun A go top of the league after a maximum points 6-0 win over Longfield B but with only three weeks gone it is very early days.

Macons Bar after having a bye the previous week had a very impressive 5-1 victory over Donaghys, Eglinton Cricket Club had a solid 4-2 win over

Rising Sun B, Longfield A got back to winning ways defeating Riverside Bar B 4-2 and we had our first draw of the league season with Longfield C and Gort Na Drum finishing 3-3 in a high scoring game.

Last year's runners up Riverside Bar A received a Bye.

Tomorrow (Thursday) night's action is the Annual Memorial Singles to be held in the Riverside Bar, Ballykelly.

The entrance fee is 3 per player and the draw will have already been made at the monthly meeting on Monday night last so final roll call for all players will be at 9.30pm sharp and any players not present will be eliminated from the draw and no exceptions will be made.

There will be four boards in play at all times.
