Two years in a row for Donemana
Mrs June McClure presented Maurice Britton, the Club Captain with the winner's plaque recently. Along with Maurice, the winning team members were Margaret Britton, Trevor Britton, Lee Britton, James Madden, Stephen Holden, Kenneth Holmes, Raymond Holmes, Willie Nelson, Jordan Nelson and Ernie Traynor.
The competition was hard fought during the winter and the club captain, Maurice Britton said that he was delighted at the great achievement of the club in keeping the plaque in Donemana and that it was well deserved. He thanked the dedication of all those who worked hard to make this achievement possible.

Hide AdMaurice said that two years in a row was an excellent reward for the players' hard work and commitment but that the icing on the cake would be winning the hat trick.
Maurice's message to the other clubs in the Waterside Church's League was "Donemana have the determination and commitment to make it three in a row so we will be a force to be reckoned with next season.
"We don't intend to give up the plaque easily."
