Loughgall Youth under 17s came out on top over Cookstown thanks to a 6-4 success across the National League.

Cookstown kicked off the scoring but Loughgall Youth managed to regroup and level thanks to Stevie Monaghan’s pass and a Ryan Leeman finish.

A quickfire double by Stevie Monaghan moved Loughgall Youth into a commanding position - the first off Jamie McAtamney’s corner-kick before capitalising on an error.

McAtamney produced another teasing corner-kick delivery, with Michael Rafferty on hand to convert.

Michee Allen’s cross was then turned home by Owen Byrne and goalkeeper Daniel Acheson produced a smart stop.

Rytan Mulholland provided an assist for Adam Palmer to convert Loughgall Youth’s final goal.

Loughgall Youth under 15s finished down by 6-2 to Warrenpoint Town across the National League.

A defensive error handed Warrenpoint control before the Loughgall Youth response featured strong work along the right by captain Johnny Ewart.

Scott McCann tested the Warrenpoint goalkeeper with a crisp drive as Sam Smyth proved a threat in a role off the frontline.

Loughgall Youth pressure produced an equaliser late in the half thanks to Ryan Faulkner’s finish off a McCann corner-kick.

However, Warrenpoint managed to regain control after the break with a slick counter-attack.

Three goals inside eight minutes left the match beyond Loughghall Youth.

Josh Woods cut the gap before the hour mark with a long-range free-kick but the final goal arrived for Warrenpoint.

Loughgall Youth under 13s enjoyed an emphatic success against Glenavy during Saturday’s Lisburn League match.

The 10-1 victory was sparked by Adam Neill’s fine strike from distance.

Chris Lindsay increased the advantage to 3-0 - with Neill then on target following a fine team move involving Sam Kerr, Chris Lindsay and Stuart Emerson.

Ben Gibbons grabbed a first goal in Loughgall Youth colours, thanks to good work by Neill and Lindsay.

Kerr increased his tally with a brace either side of Lindsay’s finish.

Neill pushed the Loughgall Youth scoreboard to nine before Bobby McKinney wrapped up the scoring.
