Lisburn’s Market Square will be transformed on Saturday October 22 from 11am-5pm into a spooky extravaganza of fun when the Purple Turnip event kick starts the city’s Halloween celebrations.

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is excited to host this free event, which will have something to offer the whole family, with fun filled activities and entertainment.

Chairman of Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council's Development Committee, Alderman Allan Ewart, said: "Whether you want to get involved or simply watch the kids’ excitement as they explore the different creatures and get their face painted, the day is sure to be full of ghoulish delights for all.”
